Chiranjeevi started his TV career with a bang. Chiru and Nag have sold the MAA TV to star, they are no more the owners of the company. But he has started his TV career with the same Satar MAA TV now the changed name of the company.
His movie Khaidi No 150 is still going strong in theaters across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh apart from the over seas market.
Megastar confesses to being overwhelmed by the love and admiration coming his way. There is a dialogue in the the Tagore movie which goes like”Telugu prajalu sentimental fools,’ . But I never thought it would become a reality,” said Chiranjeevi when asked how he managed to draw audiences to the theaters despite his decade long hibernation.
“They made me feel like a star again. It did not feel like I have been away from the silver screen all these years. I can’t thank the Telugu audiences enough for all the love they have showered on me. In fact when I was touring for promotions, random people showed me so much love,” added the Megastar who is set to foray into small screen now.
“TV is a different ballgame. I have to keep the show going through the runtime and be spontaneous doing so. I don’t act here I have to react to the guests and their emotions. And being able to help these people who are facing real problems in real life is something I am looking forward to,” he says.
Chiranjeevi said that he wants the contestants on MEK to win so that they can get over the problems to some extent.But it is reported that one girl who did not win in the contest was given about Rs 2 lakh by Chiranjeevi on personal basis from his own account.
Meanwhile he has committed for 2 movies one with his son and the other with Subbirami Reddy. Allu Arvind is also trying for Chirus dates. Apart from the Cinema, Nag and Chiru are trying to get into various other businesses it is reported.
