Selvamanis brilliance helped Rangareddy Raiders score a narrow win over Hyderabad Bulls in the ongoing telangana premier kabaddi tournament at Jawaharlal indoor stadium Warangal on Friday. It was their fourth consecutive victory as they now lead the table with 20 points, almost assuring a place in the last four. Till half time Rangareddy struggled as they were poor in attack and defense. But Selvas super raid in which he got five points, highest so far in one attempt completely changed the complexion of the match.
Once they got going Hyderabad Bulls came under pressure, eventually succumbing. The meet is still wide open for other six teams. And today’s match is going to be very important for Warangal Warriors to strengthen their semifinal chances. Khammam Cheetas are in the last position at the moment, despite beating Karimnagar Kings the other day.
