Nizamabad MP Kavitha is for welfare of the Telugu people in General. She said it was time the governments of TS and AP work together to resolve pending issues. Kavitha is of the opinion that if leaders can sit together they can resolve any issue and both the Telugu states can forge ahead.
The MP pointed out that the TRS had maintained even during separate Telangana agitation that people of both Telugu-speaking states should live like brothers despite bifurcation. She opined that the issue was over on the day the state has been separated and now all must strive together for the development of the respective states.
She said the TRS government will support the Special Category Status to AP demand, and added that at the same time, the AP government should cooperate with the TS government in getting the High Court bifurcated.
She said that some of the issues can be resolved if the heads of the states can sit together and that there need was no need for the intervention from the centre. On the other hand kavitha has got a very good name in the centre as a good parliamentarian. Good speakers and senior leaders like Venkaiah Naidu have said that Kavitha was a balanced and good speaker in the Parliament.
In fact it is reported that Venakaiah has recommended kavitha for the post of a Minister at the centre in case the centre join hands with the TRS in the near future. She will be the first one to get the recognition from the centre. But the state political thinking is going on in a different perspective. It is rumored in the TRS circles that she could contest for the MLA post in the next elections and might take over the working president of the TRS.
