There is lot of nonsense at the banks while doing transactions in the name of RBI rules and guidelines. Some bankers demand for xerox copy of Aadhar, while some others demand for the Original. In this process of xerox copies, the xerox people are making a kill. They are demanding Rs 2 per copy of a xerox.
No banks is ready to open an account for the people who do not have bank accounts to deposit the old notes. Then where will they go. The banking people are also making a kill on the notes exchange from the beginning and only a few are caught red handed in the process.
The common illiterate banker is taken for a ride in the name of RBI. The corporation bank at Jubilee hills is selling one open leaf of a cheque book for Rs 100 in place of a withdrawal form for Rs 100, while it costs not more than Rs 10 . Some are saying withdrawals only with cheque books. What if poor do not have cheque books.
Every account holder these days has to prove his credentials first and then do his transaction, which is like insulting an individual even after having an account in that bank. If the bankers are hand in glove with you , then you can do what ever you want.
The RBI must issue instructions that the banks must open new accounts also in the process. Easily employess have to take half a day for doing a banking transaction. Even after having cash some banks like Andhra Bank are not giving more than Rs 2000 withdrawals.
Some of them are equally busy in selling private insurance and mutual funds for the regular customers by force. They are more into this kind of individual oriented business, rather than doing the regular banking.
It is time that there must be a check on the banking system also.
