Trisha who was very busy in Telugu earlier had to take some rest till recent times. Now Trisha is on a high after her arresting performance of an ambitious politician in the Dhanush-starrer, Kodi.
With many films in her kitty, including one with Vijay Sethupathi and Arvind Swami, the latest rumour doing its round is that the svelte actress has been approached to play opposite none other than Superstar Rajinikanth.
And guess who has initiated the process? Seemingly, it is the national award winner Dhanush himself, who is bankrolling his father-in-law Rajini’s next film under his home banner, Wunderbar Films. While Ranjith will team up with the Superstar for the second time after Kabali — Dhanush, who shares a good rapport with the VTV actress, wanted Trisha on-board for the untitled film.
On several occasions, Trisha had expressed her interest to act alongside Rajinikanth, in one movie at least. It is known that she has been paired up with all the A-List actors in Kollywood, including Kamal Haasan.
Trisha has many hits under her belt and now she is being paired with Rajini by Dhanush and people are of the opinion that it will be a sure hit.
