Allari Naresh the son of Top director EVV Satyanarayna is not having any hits these days. He is in the mould of a comedy hero and he has to come out of that to get some hits. He has tried his hand with several things but was successful only with some comedy movies.
As Allari Naresh teams up with Ala Ela director Anish Krishna to remake Nivin Pauly’s Oru Vadakkan Selfie, Amala Paul is being considered for the female lead in the film.
“Initially, Naresh was a bit apprehensive about the film and his characterization in it. However, the director’s adaptation in Telugu seemed very well done and he decided to go for it,” shares a source, adding, “After considering several names, they thought Amala would be a good choice for female lead.”
The actress is yet to hear a narration. “She’s been abroad and they are waiting for her to return so that they can take the talks forward,” the source adds. The Malayalam film is a comedy thriller.
To be on the safe side this time too, Naresh has chosen the comedy track but it all depends on how the director would be treating he movie. It has to be tuned to the local audience and the Telugu flavor has to be added. Adopting the story to the local theme is very important.
Music also plays the major role and it all depends on the budget also. Besides acting Naresh is also getting involved in all the aspects of the film so that the end product comes out very well.
Being the son of a big director, Naresh knows almost all the crafts of the film. He is getting involved in the story sittings also.
