Earlier Minister Komati Reddy declared that there will be no benefit shows at all. Now he says it will be reconsidered. Depends on the budget of the movie. Earlier they tried to blame Allu Arjun and now they say it is very unfortunate and is an accident.
Dil Raju has struck a deal with the Government and they have patched up with the film industry it looks like. There were allegations that the Congress Government was driving away the film industry from
Hyderabad to AP.
This is not true at all. They will be in Hyderabad, and shoot in AP also. They have studios in AP also. With the state government ruling out ticket hikes and benefit shows, one of the priorities for the industry may be requesting benefit shows for movies released during Sankranthi. Dil Raju’s Game Changer, which has been in production for three years and cost over ₹400 crore, and Daaku Maharaaj, are two major films set for release.
“Fans of the Mega and Nandamuri families are eager to see Ram Charan and Balakrishna this festival. Industry leaders may request the restoration of benefit shows and ticket hikes, as Sankranthi is set to feature several star-studded, big-budget films,” he concluded.
