Global expansion of TTD

TTD Trust board meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala under the Chairmanship of Sri BR Naidu and took some important decisions.

• Approval has been given to form a committee with experts for GLOBAL EXPANSION of TTD temples and properties as per the directives of the Honourable Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu.

• To construct Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in some important places across the country following the recommendations made by the Committee under the instructions of the Honourable Chief Minister of AP.

• Request to the State Government to recommend to the Central Government for National Status for SVIMS to provide better medical services to the poor patients at the Superspecialty Hospital, thereby the Central Government allocates special funds to SVIMS.

• Approval for provision of necessary civil assistant surgeons,nurses, para-medical staff and state-of-the-art medical equipment to provide adequate medical facilities to the pilgrims on foot.

• To set up a Feedback Management System to provide better services to the devotees. In this regard, it has been decided to take feedback from the devotees in collaboration with AP Digital Corporation.

* Approval for the implementation of a new system in the issuance of canteen management licenses to leading companies in the country to provide more quality food products to the visiting pilgrims at affordable prices.

• Approval to hire 258 catering staff in various departments on contract basis through SLSMPC to provide better quality Annaprasadam in the Tirumala to devotees.

• Approval to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2 crores from SV Vidyadana Trust to the traditional school run in Tirupati under the auspices of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.

• Establishment of Food Safety Department in TTD to inspect food items keeping in view the health and hygiene of the multitude of devotees coming for Srivari Darshan and correspondingly approval to fill the post of Senior Food Safety Officer by SLSMPC Corporation.

• Decision to appeal to the Government of Maharashtra to reduce the lease price of Rs.20 crores for the 3.60 acres of land allocated by the local City And Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) towards
the construction of Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple in Navi Mumbai.

• Approval has been given for the construction of 6 toilet blocks at a cost of Rs. 3.36 crores from Alwar Tank Rest Houses to Bata Gangamma Circle for the convenience of devotees waiting in the Sarva Darshan
queues for Srivari Darshan.

• Decision to set up a Golden Gopura Kalasam in Vontimitta Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy Temple with Rs.43 lakhs.
