Many leaders and also the Chairmans of the TTD have been saying that we must not make political statements at TTD after Balaji Darshan. Now the Board has decided that they will take action against the people who make political statements.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu has issued a stern warning against the use of Tirumala as a platform for political commentary. In a recent statement, Naidu stated that anyone making political remarks at the sacred site would face strict action.
He reiterated that Tirumala is a holy place, not a venue for political debates. “We have made it clear in the past, and we are reiterating once again — Tirumala is not a political platform.
We cannot tolerate any disturbance to its sanctity,” Naidu said. He further added that the issue was discussed as a special agenda in the first meeting of the newly formed governing body of TTD, where it was unanimously decided to take firm steps in protecting the sanctity of the temple hill.
There are political leaders who made political predictions also, They announced on the hill shrine as to who would win the election. Leaders would visit the TTD even before and after the election.
The media is also chasing them all the time. There are doubts if we can really stop this on the hill shrine. Not allowing the media on to the hill shrine will be one alternative to stop the statements.Avoiding the media is the right way to stop political statements.
