On the occasion of Gita Jayanti on December 11, the Bhagavad Gita memorization competition was held on Sunday at Tirupati Annamacharya Kalamandiram under the auspices of Hindu Charitable Projects.
This competition was held in two categories, i.e.for 18-year-old students as one category and above 18-year-old as second category in 6th chapter Atma Samyama Yoga, 6th and 7th class as one category and 8th and 9th class as a second category.
A total of 139 students from TTD educational institutions and various private schools in Tirupati participated in this competition.
The first winner for classes 6-7 was K. Swathi, the second winner K.Bhoomi, the third winner K. Sahastra, while the first, second and third prizes were won by K. Nandini, K. Nagamallishwari and M. Vaishnavi, the first, second and third prizes for the students above 18 years of age went to KV Lakshmidevi, MS Jyoti and P. Hema Venkata while the winners K.P. Srimukunda, G. Jeevan Srinivas, M. Neeraja Vardhan stood in the first, second and third places for students under 18 years of age.
