Dil Raju is the TFDC chief

Popular Producer Dil Raju has been appointed as the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) by the Telangana government. The appointment will be for a period of two years.

He was lured into politics by various political parties, but he did not take the plunge so far. Now the Congress government has given him the right post.

Dil Raju, whose original name is Venkata Ramana Reddy, began his career in the film industry as a distributor in 1990 with the film Pelli Pandiri. He established Sri Venkateshwara Creations as his production banner and produced his first film, Dil, in 2003.

The film’s success led to him being widely known as Dil Raju. Now his daughter is also into the production of movies. She made a film called Balagam and that was a blockbuster.

This appointment marks a significant step in Dil Raju’s career,further solidifying his position as a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry.

As chairman, he will play a crucial role in fostering a strong relationship between the Telugu film industry and the state government. He is close to all the politicians in both the Telugu states.
