The auspicious Kartika Masa Pournami Garuda Seva will be held at the Tirumala Srivari Temple on Friday night.
Sri Malayappa Swamy, adorned with all the ornaments, will be paraded through the Mada streets of Tirumala on the golden Garuda carrier to bless His devotees.
SVBC will live telecast the program between 7pm and 9pm.TTD is making elaborate arrangements for the Karthika Maha Deepotsavam to be organised on the night of November 18 at the TTD Administration Building Parade Ground in Tirupati.
He held a coordination committee meeting with the concerned senior officials at his Chamber on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the JEO urged the devotees to participate in the Karthika Maha Deepotsavam organized under the auspices of HDPP wing of TTD. He said that this program will be broadcast live through SVBC. Devotees who cannot come to this program shall watch it live on SVBC.
As part of this, lamp posts and ghee pots are being arranged for women to sit and light the traditional lamps.The entire ground will be carpeted and a Tulsi plant will be placed at each lamp post. These plants will be given to the women as Vriksha Prasadam after the
program.
The stage will be decorated with flowers, electric illumination, and settings on both sides of the stage to create a sense of spirituality.
Special arrangements are being made for the Sri Mahalakshmi Puja to be held as part of the program. The entire premises from the main gates of the TTD administration building will be decorated with banana trees, flowers, and electric light decors.
Barricades will be set up on the ground under the auspices of the Engineering Department.
