Today CM Revanth Reddy will celebrate the first birthday in power. He will be 55 and completed one year as the Chief Minister. There is nothing much to talk in terms of development as such.
He will be touring the areas of Musi development to gather public information. He will first go to Yadadri to take the blessings of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and then proceed fr the padayatra.
During his visit to Sangem, Revanth Reddy will also offer prayers at the village’s historic Bheema Lingeshwara Swamy temple. Later, the Chief Minister will begin his Musi padayatra from Sangem village in Valigonda mandal at around 1.30 pm.
His padayatra along with local farmers from the Musi catchment area tries to bring attention to the pollution challenges plaguing the river. Initially planned as a six-kilometre walk, the padayatra has been reduced to 2.5 km due to time constraints.
This revised route will allow him to observe the polluted sections of the river near Bhimalingam and Dharmareddy canals, where waste and industrial discharge have adversely impacted the ecosystem and local livelihoods.
After the padayatra, Revanth Reddy will engage in an interactive meeting with farmers and residents of the Musi catchment area to better understand the pressing issues caused by the river’s pollution.
He will enquire directly about the impact on agricultural activities, water quality, and health concerns affecting the local populace. This interaction is expected to provide insights into the community’s challenges and lay the groundwork for future initiatives aimed at restoring the Musi River.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Hyderabad by the evening, capping off a day dedicated to both temple development and environmental advocacy.
