Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday inaugurated the Vakulaamatha centralised kitchen established by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Tirumala hills.
Chandrababu Naidu stayed here on Friday night and offered ‘Pattu Vastralu’ (silk robes) on behalf of the state government to Lord Venkateswara on the first day of the nine-day annual Brahmotsavams.
The CM also launched Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams calendar and diary for 2025.
After worshipping Lord Balaji, Babu gave a brief speech tasted the prasadam and also the controversial laddu here in the Temple. He was accompanied by his wife Bhuwaneswari. This is the first day of Brahmotsavam on the beginning day of Dasara Navaratri.
He also greeted people here on Tirumala. Babu avoided NSG security on Tirumala. He went around with his local police security that too undercover with Dhotis. The police were also advised to have minimal presence on the TTD around Babu.
Babu is happy that the Supreme Court has ordered for an independent enquiry into the Ghee contamination. Pilgrims are happy that they are getting good food on TTD on free basis.
The taste and aroma of the Laddu has also changed.
