The Court did not like the timing of CM Chandrababu’s response to the contamination of ghee in TTD.Ticking off the state government, the Supreme Court also said, “You ordered an investigation through SIT. Till the outcome of such an investigation, what was the necessity to go to the press?… We expect Gods to be kept away from politics.”
The Politicians are also asking as to why Babu kept quiet for so many months and now made it public. Botsa Satyanarayana the YSRC leader opined that the Laddu controversy was for politics.
Botsa also stated that there was no proof for saying that the same impure ghee was used for making the TTD laddus. But the court did not like the way the issue was told to the press.
It definitely hurts the Hindu sentiments. Right now the laddu is good and it is not becoming dry. The aroma of ghee is felt around the mechanised potu or Kitchen. We are prima facie of the view that when investigation is under process, it was not appropriate on the part of a high constitutional functionary to go public and make a statement which can affect the sentiments of crores of people,” the Court observed in its order.
Now some people say that The Lord is rich and Ghee can be manufactured on the hill shrine and they need not depend on the ghee supplied by others. Spending for the Ghee should not be an issue for the Lord Balaji they said.
