CV Anand who was transferred during the elections has now made a come back as the city commissioner of police. Now he has the responsibility of maintaining law and order for the Ganesh shoba Yatra.
That is Ganesh immersion process in the lake waters of Tank Bund. Now that in the name of Hydraa the Government has disturbed the mood of MIM leaders and they have almost challenged the Government to touch the buildings in Salkam lake in old city.
Hydra has given them time. Now comes he Ganesh Navaratri and there are apprehensions about the law and order on the Ganesh shobha Yatra in city. Taking this into consideration the CM has brought CV Anand back into the Police command control room.
City Police Commissioner CV Anand cordially met Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills here on Monday. The senior IPS officer took charge as Hyderabad Police Commissioner at the Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGPICCC) earlier in the day marking his return to the post.
Earlier, he served as Hyderabad CP from December 2021 to October 2023.
He was reinstated as the city police commissioner replacing incumbent Kothakota Srinivas Reddy. Meanwhile, IPS officer Vijay Kumar had taken charge from CV Anand as Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau,Telangana on Sunday.
