Several liquor brands that serve quality liquor under Rs 100 will bereintroduced in Andhra Pradesh as part of the new liquor policy. Jagan used to sell all cheap brands for higher rates and only for cash.The new policy will allow all the brands and at affordable rates. It is like liquor for all and most of them under Rs 100.
The government representatives, along with excise department officials sat down with liquor company representatives to discuss the new policy. The new policy is intended to deliver the quality liquor at nominal prices.
The earlier government nearly double the price of top branded liquor and this rule is also being revoked now.
Even top brand liquor will be sold at adequate MRPs and there will be no additional costs involved. The drinkers can get the drink under Rs 100 and have food at Anna Canteens for just Rs5.
This was the election promise made by Chandrababu before coming to power.
