TTD food taste improves

Recent measures taken in Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex(MTVAC) to provide more delicious Annaprasadam to tens of thousands of devotees who come every day to Tirumala, has enhanced the taste of delicacies, said TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao.

Along with TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahaman, the EO conducted a surprise inspection at MTVAC .

Later speaking to media he said all out efforts have been made to provide tastier and qualitative Anna Prasadam to devotees. He said daily nearly two lakh pilgrims consume Annaprasadams in Tirumala. Keeping this in view, special officers were deployed to keep the complex clean and hygiene.

To increase the quality and quantity furthermore as per the increasing demand, modernisation of the 10-15 year old cooking equipment is being contemplated. Complimenting the services of work force of Annaprasadam, the EO said steps will be initiated soon as per the recommendations submitted by a team of culinary, catering experts from South India Association of Chefs besides increasing the manpower.
