Sharwanand the medium-range star who was looking for a hit is disappointed. He did not get a hit in the form of Manamey. Visually the movie is good but the director could not make it interesting ot the audience.
The foreign locales were good but the presentation was not that attractive. The director should have done some more homework.
Probably, Sharwanand was confident about this film and allocated more than 90 days for this film to be shot in UK since his last few films like ‘Mahasamudram,’ ‘Adavallu Meeku Joharlu’ and ‘Oke Oka Jeevitham Kanam’ has crashed at the box office.
“This is Sharwanand’s 35th film and he would be hoping for a hit. Apart from content execution is also important these days. It is rainy reason and the audience are not coming to the night shows.
It is becoming difficult for the directors to bring the audience to the theatres. Unless and until it is an extraordinary movie, people are not coming ot the theatres.
Some are waiting for the OTT release.
