Madhavi Latha the BJP candidate has provided central security. She is contesting from Hyderabad against MP Asaduddin Owaisi of MIM.
There is a talk that some vested interests have been threatening her.
Winning or losing is a different matter but she is giving sleepless nights to Owaisi. In the name of Ramzan Owaisi brothers are running from pillar to post hosting iftars for the voters.
MIM is also distributing money in the name of Zakat to the poor people for Ramzan. Food distribution is also going on by the Owaisi educational institutions for Ramzan.
While the BJP Madahvi is going around with security and high-profile campaign. MIM is doing a systematic and organised campaign.
While the BJP and some Hindu groups believe that they will trounce Owaisi, a majority of them say that no one can defeat Owaisi.
The Congress and BRS will be just dummies in the old city and the fight will be between MIM and the BJP with the edge for the AIMIM. There is a talk that this time Owaisis are meeting the voters extensively.
Ramzan has come in handy for the Owaisis and they are going to the Masjids and the campaign is going on indirectly. In fact one must not campaign in religious places as per the CEC orders.
But overall it is MIM in first place and the BJP in the second place giving tough time to Owaisi here in the old city.
