The liquor companies in the Telugu states are gearing up for the coming elections. They are sure to sell huge quantities of liquor in AP and Telangana.
Liquor has been the major contributor in terms of revenue to the Telugu states. Jagan the CM of AP announced prohibition but sold cheap brands with high rates in his state.
Telangana sold liquor at a lower price when compared to Andhra. Now the Telangana Government is planning to introduce new brands of beer taking the summer market into account.
Telugu states always sold very high quantities of liquor in the states.
United Breweries Limited discussed the company’s plans to introduce a new brand in the strong beer segment in the state, it has already been launched in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
They met the CM and discussed the plans. CM Revanth Reddy assured of all support the company. The sale of beer has already picked up in the state of Telangana.
Now it will pick up in Andhra also as it is being to election time in a months time. Both the states have to gear up for the demand that the election would create in the coming days.
In Telangana it is a parliament election and in Andhra it is Assembly and Parliament elections together. There will be huge demand for all kinds of liquor.
