PM Modi visited the renowned Ujjaini Mahankali Mandir in Secunderabad at around 10.15 AM this morning He travelled by road from Raj Bhavan and proceeded to General Bazaar in Secunderabad and offered special prayers at the temple.
He was accompanied by the central Minister Kishan Reddy who is the BJP candidate from Secunderabad for the coming elections.
Today is the second day of the PM tour in Telangana.
Unprecedented bundobust arrangements were made for the tour of Modi. Modi was accorde a grand welcome with Poorna Kumbham and was presented a silk vastram. Two priests and the Temple Chairman were allowed to present a photo of Mataa to the PM Modi.
The Temple was decorated with flowers and garlands. Yesterday he was in Adilabad.
Modi presented a silk sari and other offerings to the Goddess. After that, the Prime Minister will go by road to the Begumpet airport to inaugurate the Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) here.
After that, he will fly to Sangareddy by Chopper and launch some development programs followed by a Public meeting. Accompanying the Prime Minister on his visit will be Telangana state BJP president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, the local MP, Rajya Sabha member Dr K. Laxman, and senior members of the party.
