The State Government has appointed former Minister G Chinna Reddy as Vice Chairman of Telangana State Planning Board in the rank of cabinet Minister.
Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari issued orders to this effect on Saturday. Chinna Reddy has been very active in the Telangana agitation.
Dr.G. Chinna Reddy was the MLA of Congress in Wanaparthy Constituency, Mahabubnagar. He was born on 01-06-1955 to Late Papi Reddy in Jayanna Tirmalapur Village, Gopalpet Mandal, Mahabubnagar, Telangana.
In 1986, He completed his Ph.D. from the University of Pertanion Malaysia. In 2000, He completed his LLB from Osmania University in Hyderabad. He has done his Doctorate.
Chinna Reddy started his Political Journey with the Congress Party and he was the Leader. In 1985, He Contested as an MLA and Lost. In 1989, Chinna elected as an MLA from Wanaparthy Constituency of the Congress party for the first time.
In 1999, He won the Wanaparthy Assembly Elections as an MLA of the Congress Party and Continue elected as an MLA in 2004 of the Same Constituency.
Chinna Reddy was served as a Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee and he was the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Electronics Development Corporation Ltd.
