TTD has recently introduced an SMS pay system for the convenience of devotees who are getting VIP Break darshan tickets allotted under the discretionary quota for Tirumala Srivari darshan.
This was implemented from February 1 onwards. In the new system, the pay link will be sent through SMS. Devotees can click on that link and pay online through UPI or Credit Card or Debit Card and take printout of Break Darshan tickets without going to MBC-34 counter.
This procedure is already in vogue for devotees who are getting Sevatickets earned through offline Lucky Dip system in CRO. The Aradhana Mahotsavam of the Father of Carnatic Music Sri Purandara Dasa will be held in a grand style at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala from February 8-10 under the auspices of the Dasa Sahitya Project of TTD.
On this occasion, “Sri Venkateswara Navaratna Malika” concert will be conducted with young artists at Kalyanavedika, in Tirumala on February 7 at 7 pm.
Sri Purandardasa wrote more than 4.75 lakh Sankirtans. Among these, the main nine Sankeertans penned in the praise of Sri Venkateswara Swamy will be rendered with 300 artistes.
TTD is organising the Sri Purandhara Dasa Aradhana Mahotsavam of Carnatic sangeet patriarch Sri Purandhara Dasa from February 8 to 10 at Asthana mandapam in Tirumala.
On the first day, the collective Nagara Sankeertana programs and Purandhara Sahitya Gosti will be held.
On the second day on February 9, the statue of Sri Purandhara Dasa at Alipiri will be Garlanded.
