Revanth Reddy the new CM is all set to get ready for the presentation of his first budget in the Assembly by his Government. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka the Finance Minister will be presenting hte interim Budget this time and later a full-fledged Budget will be presented.
The Cabinet is expected to take a decision on the commencement of the Budget session of the Legislative Assembly and finalise the date to present the 2024-25 Budget.
The Budget is expected to be an interim one, on the lines of the one released by the Centre, with the final Budget likely after the Lok Sabha polls and subsequent allocation to states.
The Budget will concentrate on the funds for the 6 welfare measures announced by the Congress party in the election agenda. Two of them are being already implemented.
The Cabinet is likely to decide on resuming costly land parcels that were allotted or leased out by the previous BRS government for cheaper rates and allottees not utilizing the land parcels for intended purposes.
The Cabinet will also discuss on the probe being done into various irregularities done by the earlier BRS Government.
