According to organisers, 1,500 delegates from 106 countries and 5,000 business visitors are expected to participate in the show. The delegates include aerospace engineers, airlines, airport agencies, airport operators, civil aviation authorities, policymakers and government officials.

The aero show will have 25 aircraft, including the Boeing 777 X, on display at the airport and the unveiling of Air India’s A350, the first such aircraft to join an Indian airline.

The event, which was usually a five-day affair, has been curtailed to four days. The first two days will be open only for delegates, while the last two days will be open to the public.
