The Srivari Temple Potu workers and Vahanam bearers thanked TTD Chairman Sri Bhummana Karunakara Reddy for the decision to hike their salaries during the board meeting held at Tirumala on Tuesday.
The Potu workers expressed their immense happiness for increasing their salary by Rs.10thousands at a time and said around 600 families would benefit because of this decision.
Earlier, the vehicle bearers met the TTD Chairman and expressed their happiness over the decision to accept their request and recognize them as skilled workers and enhance their salaries.
TTD will issue the SSD tokens that were stopped during Vaikuntadwara Darshanam from December 23 to January 1 again from January 2 onwards.
The devotees could book the tokens from the slots starting from 12noon from January 2.Devotees are advised by TTD to take advantage and beget Srivari Darshan and blessings.
