Popular actor and politician Vijaykanth is no more. He died this morning due to Corona.
The renowned Kollywood actor and leader of the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) party, Vijayakanth, succumbed to Covid-19 this morning at the age of 71.
Vijaykanth was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai last month, Vijayakanth tested positive for COVID-19 and was subsequently admitted to MIOT International Hospital in Chennai a couple of days ago. He fought against the disease and has now found solace.
He commenced his journey in the film industry in 1979, Vijayakanth made his mark as a villain in Inikkum Ilamai. With a filmography of over 150 movies, he became a favorite among many. Notable films like Captain Prabhakaran, Sivappu Malli, Amman Kovil Kizhakale, and others earned him immense popularity.
