Daggubati Venkateshwar Rao the former Minister and the husband of Purnadehswari has launched his campaign against the YSRC for his son Hitesh.
Hitesh will be contesting from Parachuru as the candidate from the Opposition that is TDP-Sena and the BJP. Venkatewshwar Rao has lost from this place on YSRC.
It is significant to note that Chandrababu Naidu is ready to forego the constituency, with a sitting seat for the sake of Purandeswari even when his party has a strong footing in the place.
In 2024, Sambasiva Rao will be shifted to Cheerala and Parchuru will be vacated for Hitesh. It is learned that Purandeswari is preparing the ground to field Hitesh as she believes it will increase his winning chances.
Hitesh will win this seat as it belongs to TDP and his father has lost from this seat. He will be supported by Sena and BJP. If Hitesh wins both mother and father will be happy and they belong to the senior NTR family.
