The Congress party under the leadership of Revanth Reddy has promised 6 promises in general to the public. They did not specify that it is for the white card holders only.
Now they say that it is all for the white card holders. People were thinking that the Gas and Power is for all the population. Most of them are looking for the Rs 500 gas and also 200 units of free power in general.
The first thing is that many don’t have any ration cards at all and few of them have white ration cards. What about the tenants in slums, the owners dont have white cards, but the tenants have it.
Who will get the free power subsidy and who will get the gas subsidy is the big question. So as stated by the BRS leaders the Congress is going on the promise that it has given as part of the election manifesto.
Now only one third of the population may get the benefits in general in the long run. CM Revanth must know that Congress did not specify that the 6 benefits are for only white card holders.
Now they are giving the specifications rules and regulations. This makes all the difference and people will rethink and give a different verdict in the coming parliament elections.
The same is going on in Karnataka. But the 200 units of power benefit is going to all the domestic consumers there. We do not know how they will be implementing the same in Telangana.
If the benefits are not given to the people in all, Congress will lose in the parliament elections giving the way to the BJP.
