Half of the Muslims rejected the call of Owaisi the MIM Chief and they voted to the Congress this time. There is a talk that the MIM did not bother to do welfare to the Muslims in general and was hand in glove with the BJP and BRS.
One of the main reasons if the BRS loses the power in Telangana could be the muslims aversion towards MIM and Owaisi this time. Last two elections they voted for the BRS here in Telangana.
This time they looked at the Congress and also went against the MIM in some of the constituencies. MIM may lose the election in Nampally and also Jubileehislls this time it is reported.
There are also allegations that MIM works for BJP to defeat the Congress in many parts of the country. It is high time that the MIM mends its ways and fights for the welfare of the Muslims in real.
But the BRS as such under KCR has done a lot for the Muslims and has allocated huge funds for their welfare apart from education. There was a wave in Telangana that the Muslims this time would vote for Congress and the exit polls reflected the same.
Muslims are a deciding factor in about thirty constituencies and that makes all the difference for the BRS this time. KTR is claiming that they will make a hattrick by winning more than 70 seats.
