Can Union Minister for Home Amit Shah make any difference to the prospects of BJP in Telangana? The stocks are very low for the BJP here and it is in third place. No one is giving a double-digit to the party.
People are of the opinion that the BJP and BRS are hand in glove here in Telangana.
Amit Shah will release the BJP manifesto here on Saturday and address a series of ‘Sakala Janula Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha’ meetings, the party said on Thursday. Shah will arrive at about 11 pm on November 17 by a special flight and stay in the city overnight.
After the release of the manifesto, Shah will then head to Gadwal in a helicopter and address a public meeting . He will head to Nalgonda for a meeting and then to Warangal for another event in the evening.
But language is a big barrier for Modi and Shah here in the Telugu states. That is the reason they are not able to connect to the voters. BJP has been waiting for decades to come to power in the Telugu states.
It has been supporting one party or the other and never came to power. Few leaders thrived and most of them were aya rams and gayarams. There was some euphoria when Bandi Sanjay was the chief and now it died down as he was replaced by Kishan Reddy. Leaders are deserting the party on a daily basis.
