Apart from Revanth Reddy and Etela Rajendar leaders from various sections have filed nominations against KCR in both the constituencies.
The BRS Chief is contesting from two places to be on the safe side. But it is tough in both constituencies it looks like. He has to work in all the constituencies and also for himself in two places.
Gajwel is taken care of by Harish and Kamareddy is being looked after by KTR.
While 154 nominations were filed in Gajwel, 102 nominations were filed in Kamareddy and the majority of them belong to disgruntled communities, societies and groups that are not happy with KCR rule.
They are from various caste associations, rythu sanghams and victims’ families.
The nominations filed in Gajwel and Kamareddy included those from unemployed youth associations and even members of martyrs’ families.
In 2018, a total of 23 nominations were received but only 13 of them contested and KCR’s victory was a cakewalk.
There was no disgruntlement against KCR at that point in time. However, the situation has changed now.
After two terms of Governance, discontent had brewed against KCR in some communities. There are several communities which have expressed their discontent with KCR’s rule.
