Five major heroes and another big hero are vying for the Sankranthi pie this time. Mahesh Babu will be the major competitor with his Guntur Karam directed by Trivikram.

Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram was locked for January 12th. Young hero Teja Sajja’s HanuMan also locked the same date and reiterated that they will be coming on it, without any change in plans.

Then we have Vijay Devarakonda’s Family Star set for 13th January, while Venkatesh’s Saindhav also locked the same date. Now we have Raviteja’s Eagle confirmed for the same date the other day.

Then comes Nagarjuna’s Na Saami Ranga which is targeting a couple of days later on the 14th or 15th. With these six films in the fray, the first question that comes to mind is, will Tollywood’s available theatres in Telugu states easily accommodate all these movies?

Apart from this another two medium range films are in the pipeline for the release. There could be a dubbing movie also. Where are the theatres for the 6 movies is the question.

But they sustain depending on the popularity and box office collections. The movies that get good collections will continue and the others will go home.

So finally 2 to 3 movies will remain the theatres for the two to three weeks run followed by the OTT market. As usual, Dil Raju is the major player in the distribution of the movies.
