Deepavali Asthanam will be observed in Tirumala temple on November 12 in connection with the auspicious Deepavali festival.
This religious event will take place at the Bangaru Vakili between 7am and 9am.
The processional deities and Vishwaksena will be seated in front of Garudalwar and Asthanam will be performed.
TTD has canceled all Arjita Sevas in the temple owing to the festival. However, the Sahasra Deepalankara Seva will be observed at 5pm as usual.
In connection with Gita Jayanti on December 23, TTD is organizing a competition in Bhagavat Gita to students on December 17.
These competitions will be held under the aegis of the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad wing of TTD in the 3rd Chapter of Bhagavat Gita – Karma Yogam at Annamacharya Kalamandiram from 9pm onwards.
On the same day evening prizes will be distributed. First Prize Rs. 1000, Second Prize Rs. 750 and Third Prize Rs. 500.
The competition will be held separately for 6th-7th and 8th-9th standard students.
Similarly, competitions will be held separately for candidates below 18 years and above that age who knew all the 700shlokas.
