In a riveting Ask Me Anything session on Platform X, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, addressed a multitude of political questions, tackling accusations with a sharp wit and laying bare the party’s path to triumph in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections.
Responding to allegations in the Delhi liquor case, Kavitha declared, “I’d rather be a queen than a pawn in the political games. Bring it on!!”
Taking a swipe at both the Congress and BJP, Kavitha emphasized the BRS Party’s stand on the women’s reservation bill, stating, “Our leader KCR Garu has appealed for the immediate implementation of the women’s reservation bill in this election.
In contrast, the BJP deceived women of this country with a ‘post-dated check,’ while the Congress remained a mute spectator.”
Amid the visit of Gandhi’s, Kavitha launched a scathing attack, asserting, “They are bound to be attracted to Telangana till the elections are over. They will come here, speak superficially, and leave. The reality is that their contribution to Telangana’s growth story is absolutely ZERO! #ElectionGandhi”
Dismissing poll surveys, Kavitha declared, “They played the same trick in 2018. Let Congress & others win the surveys this time, and BRS will win the election! #KCROnceAgain”
Challenging the Gandhi family’s claim of a relationship with Telangana, Kavitha detailed historical betrayals, stating, “His family (right from Nehru to Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and then Rahul Gandhi himself) repeatedly betrayed the people of Telangana!”
Responding to BJP’s BC Chief Minister announcement, Kavitha criticized the party’s inconsistency on OBC issues, Kavitha said, BJP removed their BC leader who was the State president & gave it to an OC. BJP at center refuses to conduct OBC caste census across India. BJP refuses to give reservation to OBC women.
BJP refuses to form BC welfare ministry at the centre. BJP refuses to give a 33% OBC quota in parliament & assemblies. Now the same BJP says that they’ll make BC a CM…what I see is just another election Gimmick.
Addressing accusations of being the B-team of the BJP, Kavitha firmly stated, “There is no deal! We are political opponents. We are Team Telangana!!!”
In a message for the youth, she declared, “The fight is fought with truth. Election or otherwise … BRS always takes the support of TRUTH … unlike your party.”

During an engaging AMA session, Kavitha revealed her favorite politician (Mamta Banerjee) and favorite actor (from being a Chiranjeevi die-hard fan to appreciating Allu Arjun). When asked why she is constantly targeted by the opposition, she simply said, “I am too strong for them.”
Responding to seat projections, Kavitha confidently stated, “Century Paar for BRS Party,” projecting a significant victory. She affirmed, “With the blessings of the Telangana people, we will win anywhere between 95-105 seats.
