TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy inspected the galleries and interacted with the pilgrim devotees about the distribution of food and other amenities being provided to them in connection with Garuda Seva.
The devotees also expressed immense happiness at the volume of services provided by TTD providing them Annaprasadam and water facilities at regular intervals.
TTD Chairman and EO lauded the impeccable services of the Srivari Sevaks who have been rendering services to the devotees waiting in the four Mada Street galleries since the early hours with dedication and devotion. Nearly 2,500 Srivari Sevaks were pressed in service for food packing, food distribution in galleries and distribution of water to the Health department.
They also appreciated the vigil by senior officers who were drafted to monitor the services in all the four Mada streets under the direct supervision of TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam with the assistance of FACAO..
The most important one of Vahana Sevas, the Garuda Vahana Seva was held with religious fervour where in Sri Malayappa Swamy, the processional deity of Sri Venkateswara took out a celestial ride on the mighty Garuda Vahanam, on the fifth day evening of the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams on Thursday evening.
All the 221 galleries around four mada streets surrounding the temple were filled with pilgrims.
Legends say that Garuda, the King of Aves and favourite charioteer of Sri Mahavishnu(Sri Venkateswara) considered the most respected and most sought-after follower of His Master. The darshan of Srivaru on Garuda vahanam is strongly believed to be very auspicious, which fulfils the desires of all His devotees.
