The Telangana Congress Vijayabheri bus yatra from the Ramappa temple in Mulugu between 5 pm and 6 pm today after offering prayers at the world heritage shrine. They will address a public meeting.
TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy said, “Rahul will visit the Ramappa temple and pray to Lord Shiva, as he is a devotee of the God, like me. The bus yatra will start after that.”
“The bus yatra is being held in three phases: the first one lasting from October 18th to 20th. The yatra on the first day will complete the first phase, covering Mahbubabad, Warangal, Peddapalli, Karimnagar and Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituencies,” Revanth Reddy said.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress will win the Assembly elections in five states — Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Mizoram.
He also asserted that the opposition I.N.D.I.A. represents 60 per cent of the country, more than the BJP does.Lashing out at the BJP and its ideological parent RSS, Gandhi said, “Their vision for our nation is different from ours.
We believe in decentralisation whereas the BJP believes that all decisions should be taken in Delhi.”
