Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari today held a video conference with the district collectors and took stock of the progress achieved in crop loan waiver, distribution of fertilizers, implementation of GO 58 and 59, Gruhalaxmi, Aasara pensions, social welfare house sites distribution, Telangana ku Haritha Haaram,grounding of Gram Panchayat buildings and Oil Palm plantations.
During the VC, CS said that the Chief Minister is constantly reviewing the sanction of social pensions and he wants to grant the pension vacancies to the wives of the deceased immediately. The government has allocated Rs. 19,446 crores and this loan waiver is continuing vigorously in a very short time.
She asked the officials to ensure that the farmers who got loan waiver are provided fresh loans. She said that a special complaints cell should be set up to resolve the difficulties arising in this matter.
Though adequate fertilizers have been made available to the farmers in the state, special measures should be taken to ensure proper distribution of these fertilizers.
The collectors were told that applications received under GO 58 should be enquired within a week and provide the certificates. 5707 new Gram Panchayat buildings have been sanctioned across the state and the construction of all these should be completed as soon as possible. The target set under Oil Palm cultivation should be achieved, she added.
