A thief stole a TSRTC bus from Siddipet and drove away the vehicle along with passengers. The thief, dressed as an RTC driver, drove the bus in a haphazard manner and even collected fare from the Hyderabad-bound passengers.
This is the second incident where a bus was stolen.
As the driver parked the bus, the thief got into the driver’s seat. Then, he started the bus and drove with the Hyderabad-bound passengers. The fake driver also collected ticket fare from the passengers.
When the bus reached the Jillella Crossroad, the thief could somehow stop the bus. The worried passengers got down from the bus and questioned the fake driver.
But the thief jumped out of the driving seat and fled. The passengers were surprised to note that it was not the original driver who was in the driver’s seat.
