The TTD plans to organise grand celebrations of Sri Varalakshmi Vratam at Sri Padmavati temple in Tiruchanoor on August 25 both in the modes of direct and virtual participation by devotees.
As part of the festivities, the sacred vratham will be performed at the Asthana Mandapam on Friday morning between 10am and 12noon. In the evening Goddess Padmavati will ride Swarna Ratham on the Mada streets to bless devotees which will be telecasted live on SVBC channel.
TTD will also issue 150 tickets online for direct participation on August 18 morning at 9am and similarly another 150 tickets will be issued at the Kunkumarchana counters at 9am on August 24.
Each ticket is priced at ₹1000 with eligibility for two persons per ticket.
The Virtual ticket holders will be permitted Darshan of Sri Padmavati Ammavaru within 90 days from August 26 onwards. In view of the celebrations, TTD has canceled Abisekam,
Kalyanotsavam,Vastralankarana Seva, Abiseka anantara Darshan, Lakshmi puja, Unjal Seva, VIP Break Darshan and Veda Ashirvachanam Seva etc. on the day.
The five-day Kareeri Isthi Yagam, Varuna Japam, Parjanyashanti Homam will be observed for five days between August 22 to 26 at Dharmagiri in Tirumala seeking the divine intervention for the prosperity of the humanity.
