The Shiva villain JD Chakravarthi has come up with a movie called Dayaa. The movie wanted to be different, but could not make any impact on the audience.

It is not able to generate enough hype in the Tollywood market. JD has done well, there is no second thought about it. But these days the expectations of the audience are different.

They are liking the Telangana accent and songs. JD has gone wrong with the plot somewhere and the movie can be enjoyed in bits and pieces.

Pavan Sadineni of Prema Ishq Kadhal and Senapathi fame directs Dayaa. It is a Telugu adaptation of the Bengali series Taqdeer. The core hook point and critical moments are taken from the original and given commercial touchups in Telugu style here.

The movie is predictable as it moves forward. Shravan Bharadwaj’s music is good within the setting. The background score is superb with excellent sound design and mixing. It keeps the proceedings lively even when nothing much happens.

You can watch the movie if you have nothing to do.
