With unprecedented heavy rains wreaking havoc and overflowing rivers across Telangana CM KCR and KTR are monitoring the situation round the clock and guiding Ministers, public representatives, and officials on the ground.
While KTR is touring around on the ground level, KCR is monitoring through various means. KCR is working from Pragathi Bhavan in coordination with the officials.
KCR emphasized the importance of prioritizing public safety and swiftly attending to any emergencies as well as ensuring immediate relief measures to minimize loss of life and property.
The Chief Minister has directed Ministers to work in coordination with officials, ensuring that citizens in flood-affected and low-lying areas are safely evacuated to secure locations.
KTR has already toured the areas in Hyderabad city and advised the GHMC officials on various relief measures. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is also touring the affected areas in Hyderabad.
The ongoing relief efforts have seen the deployment of NDRF teams, rescue helicopters, and essential supplies, including food and medicine, to the affected regions.
As the rains have come down to some extent, the relief measures have been intensified.
