Banks have imposed interest and penalties on farmers for their failure to repay loans . The slogan of Ab Ki baar Kisan Sarkar Given by KCR after the launch of BRS is being shattered in the initial stages.

The Congress and BJP, are now targeting the farmers’ vote bank in Telangana, which is slowly turning away from BRS as the loan waiver and other promises are not happening.

The KCR government is helplessly grappling with a fund crunch to fulfill its promise of clearing farmers’ loans. But KCR is a strategist who can turn the tables on the opposition just before the elections.

Farmers have decided to hold protests, along with the opposition parties, in front of banks in all mandals, demanding that the KCR government implements the Rs 1 lakh crop loan waiver and clears farmers’ loans immediately.

The financial help to the farmers per acre in the name of Rthu Bandhu is also happening in a phased manner.

There are over 70 lakh farmers in Telangana, and opposition parties are hopeful of gaining the support of this significant vote bank in the upcoming Assembly polls.

But it is not easy for other parties to take on KCR. The blueprint is already ready for the coming elections.
