During this monsoon season, along with Hyderabad, close to 20 districts in Telangana have reported deficit rainfall.
While Hyderabadis do not bother much about the rain, the agriculturists are looking at the sky for good rains. The usage of groundwater is to the maximum extent by the farming community.
Now Kaleswaram is feeding the agricultural needs of the farmers around the project. There is a huge storage and the project can draw and pump water into the storage with Baahubali motors.
However, based on the analysis of the IMD, Hyderabad forecast, in the coming few days, heavy inflows in Godavari are expected due to the heavy rainfall warning between July 17 and July 25.
The farmers who are wanting heavy rains may get the same across the state in all the districts in the coming days.
Both the Telugu states are expecting good rains in the coming days. Last year’s rains have improved the groundwater tables and that is coming in handy for the farming community now.
The projects grounded by the KCR Government are also helping agriculture now.
