Chief Election Officer Mr Vikas Raj & Mr Stephen Raveendra, IPS., has conducted an interactive session today with the office bearers of gated communities & RWAs along with the EROs and other officials to get their views on how to get every eligible citizen gets enrolled as a voter. Mr Vikas Raj has explained to the RWAs and gated communities’ representatives on various steps taken by the CEO’s office to enrol new voters and educate them about how to enumerate as a voter online and offline, how EROs can help them in enrolling as a voter, considering that IT corridor has a very high migrant population coming from different parts of India. Mr Vikas Raj & his team have taken the feedback from the gated communities and RWAs, the issues faced by them while enrolling and how government can help them to make 100% enrolment of voters.
Mr Vikas Raj has assured them that the issues raised by them will be addressed and requested the RWAs & Gated community representatives not to collect the enrolment forms by themselves and said that the concerned officials are there to do this job and they will do it. He urged them to bring any issues to the notice of 1950 and the issues will be addressed promptly.
