Traimasika Metlotsavam will be observed between July 10-12 under the aegis of Dasa Sahitya Project of TTD in Govindaraja Chowltries in Tirupati.
Project Special Officer Sri Ananda Theerthacharya is supervising the arrangements.The monthly Dial your EO program which is scheduled on July 7 remains cancelled due to administrative reasons.
Further date of the programme will be informed later. The annual Avatarotsavams of Sri Sundararaja Swamy will be observed between July 7 to 9 in Tiruchanoor.
Abhishekam will be performed to the utsava deities in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam on all these days between 2pm and 3:30pm.
Later in the evening Unjal Seva and Vahana Sevas will be observed.
TTD has cancelled Unjal Seva on the occasion.It is proposed to rejuvenate the dilapidated Paruveta Mandapam located en route to Papa Vinashanam Dam in Tirumala.
In a statement released on Wednesday evening, TTD said the Mandapam does not belong to the Archeological Survey of India. It is a recreation spot of Sri Malayappa Swamy during the annual Parveta utsavam and Karthika Vana Bhojanam festivals with huge footfalls of devotees.
In view of its crumbling and damaged conditions, the Mandapam posed a threat of injuries to devotees and the TTD Board in its resolution no.113 dated July 11 in 2022 has already sanctioned ₹2.70 crores for its Jeernodharana (restoration). As tender procedures were completed the contractor has commenced works on Tuesday on July 4 this year.
