CM KCR always talks the importance of Sanitary workers and has hiked the salaries out of the way for them several times. In the same fashion, KTR also thinks about Sanitary workers.
He was talking at a review meeting with the GHMC official where he said that the official must take the employees into confidence and appreciate the work that they are doing.
Seeking importance to the sanitation workers, Rama Rao suggested the officials to meet the workers over meals and by being appreciative of their contribution in keeping the city clean, make efforts to further improve the sanitation efforts.
Rama Rao said the State government strongly believed in citizens’ involvement in achieving targets and finding solutions to issues and told the officials that once people gain faith in ward offices for their grievance redressal, more would come forward.
The Minister also directed the GHMC officials to be prepared for the rains and given the forecast for heavy rains from this weekend, should have coordination with other line departments.
All these works suggested by the Minister involve Sanitary workers and he wanted the officials to treat them well and appreciate all the hard work that they put in on a daily basis.
