Joginapally Santosh Kumar the BRS MP stated that KCR is the Ashoka of Telangna as he has turned the state into a green Telangana with abundant water resources.
He was talking at an anniversary function of a Telugu news channel last night. The anchor praised JSK as the Ashoka of TS as he has been inspiring various sections of people to plant trees under his organization Green India Challenge-GIC.
Crores of saplings have been planted under GIC and was an inspiration from Haritha Haram of KCR said JSK. He said even GIC was inspired by KCR and that KCR is the Ashoka of Telangana.
GIC is a unique work being taken up by JSK as an MP and he planted saplings in the premises of Parliament also apart from inspiring crores of people to plant saplings.
JSK was instrumental in developing forests and getting sponsors to take care of the forests. He is being talked about for the GIC across the nation and also by the Telugu people across the world.
Prime Minister Modi and President Muru also appreciated the work being done by JSK for reducing global warming. JSK also added that running a channel was not easy and he faced all that with the channel.
But added that he was also a part of starting a channel to support the Telangana agitation and it was done at a very low cost. Lets hope the central Government would recognize the service of GIC for the Nation at the appropriate time.
