This January there will be an election hungama for the coming Sankranthi. Both the Telugu states would be busy with the political parties campaigning at peaks for the elections.
Some movies are getting ready for the release during this time. We have to see how far they would be able to attract the audience.
Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s action entertainer ‘Guntur Kaaram’ is set to release on January 13th, as announced by the producers.
Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ and Shankar’s pan-Indian project ‘Indian 2’ starring Kamal Hasan, are also scheduled to release around the same time for the festival.
There is a chance of ‘Pushpa 2’ making its way to the screens during the festive season. Even if it releases in December, it would still be election time.
With the elections around three or four films are likely to clash with each other during the Sankranti season. Audiences show immense interest in watching these big-ticket films during the festive period.
Lets wait and see if the producers would reschedule the movies.
